Can you believe how big the baby's gotten since the first ultrasound?!
It was so wonderful to see the baby's little head, arms and legs and the little flutter of the heartbeat. He or she appeared to love being on camera because baby was wiggling around on the screen throughout the exam.
The purpose of the visit was not just another opportunity to see the little one (though that would be OK) but to better determine the due date. During our first visit the midwife said baby's size wasn't in-line with the estimated due date and we scheduled this follow up to help pinpoint when this little bundle will make his/her appearance. Based on baby's size the new due date is April 19th and today I am officially thirteen weeks. Hopefully this date will stick.
